Huh I have sort of always thought this a logical end for Líf's arc in a sense. Once Hel is defeated once more, the throne of death will be vacant again. The next logical person to take the throne would either be Eir or Líf. I personally just dont see Eir taking up the throne because she's a princess of the realm of life now. Her focus will likely be restoring the realm of life. That leaves Lif. I dunno somehow this is the best and worst ending for him. I just want him to finally find peace and I dont think he's going to get that from ruling the realm of death. It might be good for our Order of Heroes if he could convinced that killing us off isnt necessary for his plan to revive his Askr. I doubt that he would listen at the moment given a previous chapter where Loki orders him to attack our Askr or something like that.
