Working in this industry and constantly being stuck with Superheroes (don’t get me wrong I love comics), having original material was a breath of fresh air! After a stressful first half of the year personally and professionally, this show brought out laughter and joy I hadn’t experienced since Christmas. As a musical theatre nerd is was also lovely to have a show that had beautiful characters full of love and acceptance. It is devastating that they aren’t able live on. To make matters worse, having it removed during this writers strike is just an extra stab in the back for everyone involved. Please sign the petition above. If a second season is merely a dream, at least allow the first to find a home to spread the same joy and love for years to come.
