Very curious if you have any Billford fanfiction recommendations for lesser known fics/authors? I'm wanting to find more fics and am overwhelmed, but I feel like I only ever see the same authors pop up and want to find some new material
i'm afraid that if I like a fic or an author, they tend to wind up on the big recs post i already have ^^;;; can't say I really keep track of authors who aren't already on there
I am unfortunately in the niche of like 15 highly dedicated individuals who only write triangle bill, which may actually be part of your issue. there are. very few people who actively write triangle bill. heartbreaking, i know 😔
you didn't ask for my opinion and this isn't the best metric but if you compare how many fics exist with the human bill tag vs triangle bill tag, human bill wins out by a pretty big margin
you may want to argue that a lot of people don't tag triangle bill since he's meant to be the default, but here's the thing: the triangle number goes down by over 100 if you remove human bill and a lot of people don't tag human bill or will use the wrong tags for it thus making things harder to organize
a difference of 200-300 isn't that bad but it is significant enough that i'd argue the triangle's in a losing battle

it's incomplete, but the story is really just a series of vignettes leading up to and a little after the betrayal, so we all know how this is all going to end anyways. this one is formative billford for me
