A really fun read, and incredibly adorable. Arthur's POV was magnificent, and the pacing and tone of the story was just brilliant.

Reaction

The plot is pretty much like you'd expect, except with much less angst and a lot more adorable--and a twist at the end, too. (Also, cellist!Arthur)

Really cute, with an obliviously in the closet Arthur and a determinedly friendly Merlin. Minimal angst too, which is nice.

I adore Arthur in this. The whole hating-because-you-don't-know-how-to-get-out-of-it thing was so relatable. Merlin was pretty adorable too.

I love it when fics address Merlin's guilt over the dragon/Morgana/Balinor/Freya, so this was brilliant. Although what else does one expect from Lady Ragnell.

Reaction

A classic hc fic, full of fluffy moments, some pining, and idiot boys. The magic reveal in this one is one of my favorites.

“For Christmas? I’ve got an uncle and a mother and a sister waiting for me at home, in case you hadn’t remembered, I’m not going home with you just because you’re a workaholic.”

“No, it’s. My mum might be under the impression that we’re a little bit married.”

In which Merlin gets conned into spending Christmas with Arthur's family and pretending to be his husband, because somehow this is his life.

Unbearably adorable; I teared up a few times. Their relationship was so well-defined.

It was just really cute. Every cute trope you can think of is just jumbled together in this fic--animals, best buddies, hurt/comfort, and more.

Reaction

This was such an original fic. Half of it's in canon era, the other half in modern. It took a lot of my favorite tropes and put them in situations I'd never seen them in before--I enjoyed this fic immensely.
