I’m back in business!

What’s up guys? It’s mechaniisms here- only, the URL is echogears now and after 6 months’ worth of hiatus I’ve decided that I want to come back!

Why have I suddenly changed my mind? Well, I’ve heard a few people say that they missed my blog and my muses and my writing, and to tell the truth, I’ve missed all of you guys as well! It was so incredibly hard to leave, but it was even harder to resist the temptation of coming back.

What’s changed?

Well, a few old muses have left, and a few new muses have come to join in on the fun! I’m dropping my previous attempts at writing everyone (seriously, why did I think I could do that…?) and instead I’ve tried to stick as closely to the story and important characters as I could. if you’d like a full list, you can find it here! All the muses have bios now and most of my OCs have full front-and-back refs.

Also, I would like to give a canonical explanation for absence within the plot. Those of you whose muses share a canon default verse with mine, please note this:

All of my muses have been taken out by Ra moon for the last 6 months, and the human muses have been busy trying to revive them somehow. Only now have they gotten back online. This explanation is to simplify things so they don’t require planning and plotting and adding in information that was never RP’d.

Anyways, I also would like to address something for everyone, and I’d like you all to read it because it’s important to me that you know. However, I won’t put it in this post- it’s written down here instead.

With that aside, I’m happy to be back and I am ready for interaction right away! I love you guys! Send me an IM if you want to chat or plot!

I know that, in the past, I’ve done a lot of rude and bad stuff, and was overall incredibly immature and handled everything terribly. However, these past 6 months have been a time of reflection for me, and a time of growth and change. I’d like to think that I’ve grown from my past mistakes.

That being said, I know my actions have hurt a great many people, and I want to sincerely apologize for that; I truly am sorry. However, as I said, I’ve grown and matured a lot, so I think I know how to handle things better now, and that ultimately is what really tipped the scales and made me decide to come back; I know I won’t make the same mistakes again this time.

Now, a message directly to those who have cut ties with me:

I don’t expect any of you to forgive me. You don’t have to. I know already that some of you have even explicitly stated in the past you’d like nothing more to do with me, and I respect that.

However, I want you to know that I am deeply sorry. I recognize that I’ve done wrong, and if there is anything I can do to right my wrongs, you are welcome to address them to me. Or you can choose not to interact with me at all. Either way, I have let go of all prior animosity. I no longer hate any of you. And really, I was never in any place to.

Okay so like, at least 5 people (maybe more?) miss my muses and want me to come back, and I’ve been doing really superbly in stress-management and in bettering myself as a person.

So! I’ll get right to the point now:

If everything goes according to plan,  I intend to officially return to the Mega man RP community.
