||X. LEXA:
           She knows she is not welcome - that much is clear. But Lexa could not help herself for slipping inside the tent. Eyes flick to the work bench, and she has the overwhelming urge to fidget with something, but she allows herself nothing more than a small squeeze of the hilt of her sword. “I —came to apologise.” The words are softer than she intends, but they do not waver, and when Raven’s eyes find her, Lexa forces herself to meet them.Â
               The commander’s response is greeted with a suspicious look. As much as Raven still wants to tell her to leave her the hell ALONE, Clarke would want her to at least hear the other’s piece. Then decide if she would accept an apology. “You know you took away the only person who has ALWAYS been there for me right?” Her voice was as thin and tight as copper wire, strained from an effort to not yell or cry. “Finn was the one good thing I still had left, but you had to FORCE everyone to play by your rules. You would have done WORSE to him if Clarke hadn’t--” It still hurts to think about that night. She pushes the memory from her head. “And you wouldn’t have felt a DAMN thing. I don’t think you can feel, Lexa.”Â
