ransom idea I got while taking to someone. There are people that find a mysterious/abondanded lighthouse/windmill in the middle of no where. Can be anywhere but i was thinking the traditional forest. They go inside and begin climbing the stairs but find they go on forever. Like no matter how far they go let don't seem to go anywhere. As the begin to panic about their situation many things happen and many things are revealed. Eventually the do find their exit. To some it is a bright light for others it is either nothing or the top of whatever they were climbing. Or something completely different.

So this is just a quick thought I had late at night. might edit this later but these are the basic ideas for what I would do with the gen 5 characters. As you will see most of them I will keep the same with a few minor changes.

Sunny - I would keep her leadership characteristics but I would increase her curiosity.  I would have her want to go on adventures when they present themselves and when not present she would want to explore the new lands now open to her.  She will also ask questions.  A lot of questions. To an almost obsessive level like she was in the movie.  However I would keep her level headed so she would only ask questions when she was able to.  I would even throw in a bit of twilight and have her be a bit obsessive with keeping ponies together and sometimes losing sight of what is in front of her.

Izzy - For izzy I would keep her goofy and creative but I would add a lot more depressing moments for her.  I liked how some things would instantly get her upset in the movie and wish they kept that. I would also have her be a bit bad at speaking her mind when she is in one of these moods.  I would also get rid of her cluelessness that she seemed to have in “Tell Your Tale”.  I think she was more aware than what was shown there.  I would make her more serious when it was needed even if she does get distracted with a new craft idea.  I would also reintroduce her luminescence ability.  With it she would struggle with other ponies' moods and try to help even if it is not needed.

Hitch - I would make him a lot more serious.  Maybe even a perfectionist.  He does what is needed immediately no matter what.  However I will have him struggle with situations that are lawfully right but morally wrong.  I would also make him a more competent detective than he was in the show.  

Pipp - I would honestly get rid of the hair stylist idea and keep her as a full time influencer.  I would want her to be really glued to her phone and struggle with reality.  I would make her still care for others.  However she firmly believes the best thing to help someone or something is to post about it.  She will really struggle with backlash but will get back to posting after a while.  I will also have her struggle with zipp on who should be queen.

Zipp  - I would make her a dare devil like normal but she is much more willing to help pegasi learn to fly.  I would make her have a dream to bring back the Wonderbolts.  She will be someone like spitfire but a bit more impatient.  I would make her be a little hot headed when things don’t go as planned.  I would also get rid of her detective side and just have her be a common assistant to everyone.  She is also more open with not wanting to be queen which will make her but heads with Pipp. 

Misty - I would honestly keep her mostly the same. if I was to change something is maybe her a put more opinionated. I wouldn't have her be with Opaline for most of her life so she wouldn't get the fearfully side to her. Would still keep her shy and nervous but once she makes friends she is a lot more open with what she likes.

This is about a women who is able to see many color stings on people. One string is the red string of fate on the pinky but there are other colors. yellow for friends, blue for blood family, purple for enemies, and some other 5th one. I am still thinking about this one.

either way she can also one other string but not on the finger. this one is around the neck and it is black. this one means death. if she sees it then the person will pass soon. however there are 2 kinds of black string. one that is like a choker and the other looks like a noose. The choke means they pass naturally and the noose means someone kills them. the culprit will also have a string around their wrists.

I am thinking she could be a detective but is constantly annoyed to know who committed murder but isn't believed most of the time.

eventually she finds her fated person but they have a noose around their neck and she starts trying help him live.

take note: the strings only connect if the people are close enough to each other.

So there is a group of people who have mirrors that can see into the future and they can actually talk to there future selves. Using these mirrors they became famous detectives. They even help their future selves make better decisions to solve cases quicker. However one day they discover their future selves were murdered. Now using their mirrors they have to figure out who and why while trying to survive.

Take note. They will make moves in their time and check to see if that changed their future. They will also realize they are being stalked.

In the dream

So in the dream there were I think 3 people it looked like they could only talk and see what their future selves showed them.

They also figure out they were murdered because the first 2 people couldn't contact their future selves but the third guy was being hunted and died while in contact.

the mirror doesn't go far into the future. maybe a week or so. wasn't sure.

In this dream I saw a person who was cursed to never be able to resurrect loved once. I think he was able to to use resurrection mage but for some reason he was cursed to never be able to use it on someone he loves.

then I saw another guy covered in injures. he looked close to the cursed guy. but then he was attacked(can't remember how) and died. he then instantly came back to life. no magic was used. I think this guy was immortal but because he was covered in wounds I think he can't die but he also doesn't have the quick healing powers immortals usually have. actually thought he was a human looking zombie.

So this is a fanfiction idea. In short the gang go to Ohio to see Big Rock. While there they learn of the legend of Old Raridan. Soon they are thrown into another mystery when Ghost wolves and settlers start appearing to scare of hikers and travelers.

I plan for only to settlers to be real people but the wolves are real ghosts. Not sure yet if I will have many wolves or just Raridan.

Either way the settlers will turn out to be people who hid their money in the cave that was said to be Raridan's home. they don't believe in the legend and figured the cave was save after learning of the mystery on why the cave howls.

This is a villainess story but this time the villainess is not reincarnated.  The heroine is.

The game is an action romance game where in school you develop relationships until graduation where the villainess, filled with rage, sides with the demons and attacks the people.  Ultimately causing her death.

The villainess is like this because all her life she was shown no love and was only used as a pawn.  She thought she finally got love from her fiance but he betrayed her and she decided to destroy the world that showed her no love.

However when the heroine was reincarnated she wanted to get strong sooner to make sure the end battle went smoothly.  During her training she attacked a demon who escaped and met the villainess who found and healed him.  They developed a friendship and this prevented her from feeling desperate for love.

Their friendship was secret but one she enjoyed.  Eventually when she had to go to school with her fiance they began writing letters.  Without her need for love she was able to interact with people normally and make friends with them.  

The heroine however continued to follow the story minus the bullying.  She found this odd and investigated.  Eventually she finds the letters and who they were sent to.  The heroine started spreading rumors the villainess was cheating while she gathered evidence of the connection to the demons.  

During this whole time the villainess wrote to the demon about everything.  This caused the demon to get determined to protect her and so he got stronger

Then at the graduation party the prince and heroine condemned the villainess for siding with the demons and right when the demon king was supposed to arrive in the game the demon the villainess befriended appeared as the new demon king.  Instead of fighting, since the villainess didn’t like violence, he agreed to leave the kingdom alone if they agreed to let him have the villainess.  

Everyone agreed and the villainess lived happily ever after with the demon.

alright so these ideas are basically the story of the elf on the shelf turned horror.

There are 2 ideas i thought of.

During the Christmas season people, mainly kids, are haunted by the elf on the shelf. If they see anyone being naughty or breaking the elf rule they are killed. This could be because of a curse or something and the they main characters have to figure out how to break the curse.

So I got this idea randomly when I saw a shirt with lucky from lucky charms cereal but the shirt was stained and there was a stain right where his hand was that looked like a knife. So i instantly thought. What if that became a horror movie.

Lucky becomes murderous and attacks his victims but each time there is a chance of them surviving. think like Russian roulette, or picking between 3 doors. however the odds are in his favor. take Russian roulette for example. instead of one bullet left there is only one bullet missing. or the 3 doors. 2 of the 3 are a trap.

So i picture this idea as a short comic like you would see in the comic section of a newspaper and it shows mother nature in her daily life. However we also see what could be going on Auth her through the weather. Like she is fighting with someone so earth gets storms. Heck maybe sometimes she throbs weather at us just for fun.

Alright, so this idea is about a king who is informed by an oracle that war will begin in the next few years.  The king knows there is no way to win with their current power so he decides to summon a hero to help them.  Unfortunately, the hero turns out to be an orphaned child from another world.  The king is upset but decides to raise the boy hoping he can grow up to be the strong hero the world needs.

While raising the boy they both eventually meet the demon queen and her child.  The hero bow and the demon daughter form a very close friendship to where they sneak out to meet.  This forces the king and demon queen to meet often.  

Eventually, they bond and fall in love.

OK so my brother told me this idea while we were swapping story ideas and I loved it so I thought I share it. he said it was fine too

In short, he called it "the time I died and became the god of my own world."

so there is this dungeon master or some kind of gamer who unfortunately dies. He then meets a god who was a fan of their creations and isekai stories but the god explains he is not very creative so he gives this person the chance to be a god in his own new world.

Throughout the story, he creates life, and land, and even plays god for other isakei'd people. The god who gave him his powers is also there, being a backset creator of this world.

This is just a weird idea I felt like sharing.

pretty much in this world anyone who wanted to be a magical girl, or boy, would be set to another dimension to try to be just that. there they will discover what kind of magical warrier would be right for them. they could be a mermaid, fairy, flower, knight, angel, or anything else.

they would also learn if they have magic or if they need a magical item. this goes for clothes, armor, and accessories as well.

once they graduate and they have mastered their magic, found a compatible uniform they would go wherever was best for their specific style of fighting. to a mermaid would do to the ocean or a fairy would go to a forest.

However, in this story, there is one girl who is struggling to find out what kind of magical girl she is. she does have magic but for some reason, she can not release it. She can only give it to others. eventually, she will learn she is actually a goddess. She is meant to give blessings, power, and strength to others. for this story that would be the principal. She then has to learn how to give correct blessings, choose the correct students to go to different worlds, and much more.

So for the black cauldron, I would change only a few things.  However, these are big changes as well.

To start, I would change it from an animated film to a live-action one.  With the dark tone and story and the more developed CGI we have today, I think making it a live-action would make it a lot better.

Next, I would change it from a film to a series.  There was way too much lore to put into one movie.  Just some of the things the film had that needed exploring are:

The magic sword.

The magic harp thing

Gurgi.  Seriously, I didn't feel much during his sacrifice.  I think I would try to develop the friendship he had with the others

The relationship between the characters.  It felt like they put 4 characters together. Made them get random feels out of nowhere when it was needed.  And that was it.  It just moved way too fast.

The cauldron itself.  There is so much lore here.

And this is not even all of it and each one was in a single movie.  If put into a series then the creators would have more time to cover these things and make it work.

Then the last thing I would do is make sure Disney was NOT involved.  This story is way too dark for Disney today. Maybe in the past but even then I don’t think it would work.  This type of story would have a lot of dark tones and heavy topics.  Death, blood, war, and much more would be put in to make it dramatic, exciting,, and thrilling.  If Disney tried I feel it would really downgrade the story.  This is a story that needs to be dark.  Disney now is way too light and family-friendly to cover this type of story.
