There's a certain kind of happiness when you're looking for an artist to commission and you find someone who likes the same type of aesthetic as you do. And when you show them your oc, they express how much they like the design, they draw your oc so well, and seem to have fun drawing them :D

My character designs usually lean more fantastical so honestly designing Misha and Kylar were kinda a new experience, since comparatively their designs are very mundane. Instead of thinking about how can I turn an object into something completely different (i.e. flower receptacle into a corset), I messed around more with the details like texturing their clothes and giving regular everyday objects or visual elements that show their hobby, backstory, personality, and relationship to each other
