Interrogation Highlights

Annie described vivid details of the incident, like Kyle’s green hat, green jacket, suspected torso intestines with a crack on his chest, lasting 7~10 seconds.

Annie admitted to blackmailing Kyle with photos of him secretly exiting the bunker for an unspecified reason in which she wasn't interested, but promised to keep silent in exchange for goods he shares. [Example - phones, various phone chargers, backpack, credit cards, various clothes.]

There was a total of 3 trips that she's aware of, with the incident happening on his 4th.

Annie also claimed that Kyle's last sent photo was:

The referred picture was not found on her confiscated phone due to the "automatic message deletion" feature, as Annie says, leaving us without any evidence or proof, except for the "goods" provided to her by Kyle earlier, which are now confiscated along with a large brown robe, similar to one in [##############################] file.

Annie did not know Kyle on a personal level; they were neither friends nor enemies until their encounter, but he "Seemed to be okay" the more they talked.

Annie remained distressed and insistent throughout the interrogation, doubling down on everything she said and disregarding any possibility of any inner malfunctions.

Overview:

At approxemetely [02:00 - 02:40 AM], Office C-17 was unlawfully accessed. Entry was achieved through forced leverage against the main door. I am aware this choice of access hardware has been commented on before. Let it be said plainly: it was installed at my request. I work in one of the most essential positions in this facility, performing duties others avoid. I hardly considered that anyone would se fit to pry open the office of the Facility Operations Manager, let alone risk the consequences of doing so.

Nevertheless, the breach ocurred. Upon inspection at [03:13 AM], I found the doorframe splintered, desk drawers disturbed, and my drawers wide open. Surveillance footage, which should have documented the intrusion, was conveniently disabled by a direct spray ovr the lens from a blind angle in coverage.

At present, no evidence suggests anything was stolen, though investigations into both physical and digital records are ongoing.

Door lock froced open with blunt leverage (likely crowbar or similar tool).

Surveillance coverage nullified by spray at obvious blind spot.

Concerns:

I will acknowledge the chosen door type was unconventinal, but let me empasize: the problem was not the door. The problem was that security protocols allowed this intrusion to happen at all. A facility of this magnitude should not hinge its safety on whether or not an indvidual Manager wishes for a door with some character.

Further, Security Integrator Daeve Matth did raise concerns about the vulnerbility of this office. However, issuing warnings and then standing idle is not the mark of effective leadership. Security is not about predicting failures—it is about preventing them.

Requests & Suggestions:

In light of this incident, and with the utmost respect for Directorate oversight, I urge imediate adoption of the following:

Strengthening of Office Security: Biometric entry, reinforced locks, and structural reinforcement for all adminstrative quarters.

Comprehensive Surveillance Coverage: Multiple-angle cameras and removal of blind spot, with 24/7 monitoring of critical locations, including my office.

Review of Security Oversight: I recommend a thorough evaluation of Security Integrator Math performance. If he cannot act decisively to mitigate vunerabilities—even those he has identified—then his position requies reassesment.

I do not take the privilege of my position lightly. I have devoted myself to this role with tireless consistency, ensuring the stability of operations that many do not even notice until they fail. But this incident make it clear that the respect and security owed to such a role have not been upheld.

Though no tangable losses appear to have ocurred, the breach itself is unacceptable. If action is not taken swiftly, I am fear this will serve as precedent for further violations.
