Now I’ve read a couple of things from people who have done research and came to somewhat of a conclusion: Simu Liu is not an incel but he has said questionable things. He made comments on women playing sports (which he thought was very terrible of himself so at least he admits it I guess?) and his comments on trying to make some sort of comparison between pedophilia and the lgbtq+ community. Now I didn’t do this research but to see it there’s a Twitter thread by @LPCantLose which uses picture evidence from his Reddit.

what an incredible film. absolutely phenomenal for me, personally, as an Asian American, to see such a fantastic story about the Asian experience on such a grand scale, especially in a marvel movie. go see it in theaters if you can!!

if you're a marvel fan, go watch it because another one of our favourite comic character is now on-screen in live action form.

if you're asian / poc, go watch it. we are finally getting the representation that we need.

if you're not a racist and an ally of the asian community, go and watch it. it is time to learn that not all superheroes are white and a chance to educate ourselves of the beautiful chinese culture and community.
