“Do you know a place where I can have some flyers printed out?”

“I have no idea! Maybe the library? Are the Kappas working really hard on the haunted house?”

“Pinnacle of adulthood – eating chocolate, in my boxers, in bed, while grading papers.”

“It all sounded great up until that last part. Good luck with that.”

“The new Star Wars movie is coming out, Mckenzie! That is time to celebrate for sure.”

“I’ve never actually seen any of them. Don’t hate me. I want to, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin!”

“Y'know what I’m over the gamma girls critiquing my driving. I am their only way of getting those decorations from the shops to the house. Like sure taxis are options but there would need just one whole taxi for the shit.”

“People mock my driving a lot of the time, too. I don’t understand it. It’s not like, I've ever even gotten into a wreck yet.  Well, did you get it done with?”

“I’m at the point in my life where I need to take on a second job. Alternatively I could just lay down and die. That’s something college kids wanna do right?”

“Sometimes, yeah! Two jobs and college seems like way too much for anyone to handle it.”

“T minus 2 months for the best day of my life – of this year.”

“And what’s that, Ben?”

“Thank you, thank you.” She laughed. “Technically, I’ve always been in the club you know? In case you don’t know, I am a natural blonde. I like it, this reminds me of my 10 year old self.”

“Oh, really? I had no idea. I’ve only ever seen you as a redhead, but seeing you now, it all makes sense as to why it looks so natural and great against your skin. That’s a good thing, right? You’re only as young as you feel.”

“I’m still not entirely sure what happened in the backyard, but there was a bunch of stuff knocked over and snapped in half. I legit thought it was a bear. At this point, to be honest, I kinda hope it was a bear and not a bunch of dicks trying to scare us.”

“That’s... really creepy. I’m feeling really fortunate that nothing like that has happened at Zeta to the best of my knowledge. You girls be safe. You know, travel in groups and always tell someone when you’re going out. I’m sure it’s nothing, but it’s always best to be safe.”

“It’s sad that this is what goes for excitement around here these days. We’ve gotta do something to liven things up. No I don’t think it’s funny, we’re old enough to come up with more clever pranks. I’d share my ideas, but what’s to stop you from using them against me, huh?”

“You’re one of the funnest guys I know, Simon. I trust you alone can save the campus from total death by boredom. Maybe that’s true. Are you saying you don’t trust me? Do you think I’m some kind of evil mastermind secretly? You might be right.”

“I don’t see nothin’ wrong with that.” He grinned, as his eyes followed her hemline. “Yeh, I am. Why? You want me to sign a ball?”

“I’ll have to pass. Try to catch me next time, yeah? Then you’re so on.” McKenzie replied, crossing her arms. “Oh, no. Nothing like that. I just have been told a lot about you. You could say I've been warned, but you seem nice, so I’m confused.”

“I feel that girl, neither have I. I’ve been so busy lately too, it’s hard to keep up with the latest drama and what not between houses. I think someone is trying to creep Gamma out, though. There was something in our backyard the other night and I don’t know if it’s just where it’s October or what, it was a little unsettling. Rose wants to set up cameras.”

“It really is. If it wasn’t for social media and some of my more informed sister, I’d have no idea what’s going on literally ever. Wait, what exactly happened? What did they do in your backyard? A prank or something? I wouldn’t put it past people. This time of year brings the creeps out of the wood work.”

“Surprise! Did you like it? I decided to be blonde for a while.”

“Oh, Liz, you look so beautiful! On behalf of blondes everywhere, welcome to the club. The question is, do you like it?”
