The Naive One

“Do you know a place where I can have some flyers printed out?”

“Ah surely you guys have a printer in the house.”

“Pinnacle of adulthood – eating chocolate, in my boxers, in bed, while grading papers.”

“Sounds so thrill seeking and exciting. But surely the only difference is grading and not writing them?”

“I’m sure you’re not as grossly under-qualified they make you out to be. Perhaps, remind them that you’re free while uber isn’t.”

“Ignore backseat. That’s what I do when I drive. Just ignore all the comments, otherwise you’d go insane.”

“Oh trust me I try to, but they honestly are the worst. Would it be bad if I actually had to tape their mouth shut?”

“That sucks, I hope he shows up” he said with a small chuckle. He knew she was talking about him but he tried to act natural. Castiel looked at Lux as he scoot closer to her resting his chin on her shoulder grabbing her by the waist with a smile

“I think I’ll be pretty heart broken if he doesn’t.” Lux pouted jokingly. Smiling at him as he moved closer the blonde looked at him with a grin. She enjoyed the fact he was different to the other males on campus. Cas just seemed to show the sweeter side that not many of them liked to show. 

“Come on, don’t listen to them! They’ll realize the mistake they’re doing when they realize you’re their only chance.” Adrian smiled. “But if you ever need help, I’ll be more than glad to give you a ride.”

“Very kind of you. But I could not put anybody through that torture of being in a car with them.”

“People mock my driving a lot of the time, too. I don’t understand it. It’s not like, I’ve ever even gotten into a wreck yet.  Well, did you get it done with?”

“Oh I got their excessive decor back. Mostly in one piece. But when you have backseat drivers constantly yelling it’s a little hard to drive any better that what I did.”

“I’m sure you aren’t that bad of a driver, Lux. You got them from point A to point B in one piece, right?”

“I’m not! Just I haven’t done a lot  of driving in America... But yeah of course, none of them are broken but hey a decoration or two comes out slightly different but it’s not the end.”

Women usually can’t drive, let’s be real.

“I can drive. Just not when I have three backseat drivers.”

“Calm down, calm down! I heard some drivers might get little defensive over little criticism. I guess you are one of them.”

“It’s hard to not be when I basically feel attacked while I am driving. So technically if I crash it’s their fault not my driving.”
