My name is Willa McClain (not really)

I'm a physics enthusiast (when I'm not being graded on it)

Outside of writing, I enjoy reading, drawing, martial arts, lifting, and hiking

My all-time favorite book series is The Maze Runner

My favorite manga/anime is Jujutsu Kaisen

My favorite movie is Captain America: The Winter Soldier

At this point, the above three bullet points ought to be considered diagnostic criteria

I am also a sucker for a really good corruption/spiraling/insanity arc

My favorite genres to write (aka the genres of Saving Beyond) are action, drama, tragedy, romance, and satire (though admittedly, this one is a reach)

But what does that tell you

Saving Beyond is about religion. It's also about the American military-industrial complex

Saving Beyond is also, also about academic trauma, and identity, and fucking up your hair when you're grappling with your academic trauma and identity

Saving Beyond is about two camps of men: very short, and very tall

And most importantly, Saving Beyond is about femdom

He doesn’t stay in the same room he used as a teenager. He couldn’t bear it – the proximity to Suguru’s old room, the memory of a happiness he hasn’t known in a decade. But even though there are a couple floors between his new room and that graveyard, he swears he can still hear Suguru’s voice drifting through the floorboards.
