Oh god she loves being underestimated. No one would have thought a silly human girl could escape from Klaus Mikaelson either and look how that ended up. She's been running for five hundred years from him. This man, he'll be lucky if his elite group of hunters makes it to day twenty.
It's all a game to her, and not the same one they're playing. No this is enrichment for the little fox. Taking out predators that feed on the desperate is a hobby. They want a show, she will give them one they don't expect.
"I don't think I can, I know I can." She purred, baiting him.
"I think you're over looking one crucial bit of information here. You may have my scent... but I've also got yours. This was never a game of cat and mouse. This was always the fox and the hound. You better hope you're better at hunting than I am. Speaking of, are you sure all of your hunters are still up and running?"
You can almost hear the smirk on her lips through the phone.
"You might want to check. After all it's a detriment to start a game without a full deck of cards."
She knows he's near by. She knows he can see her. Most likely she's surrounded but that doesn't mean anything because she's faster than they can move. At this point she's just trying to make him mad. Make him sloppy. Make the whole show look like fools.
He can't, but she can't wait to see how hard he tries.
