On the way back, the sun was already getting really hot; it almost felt like 3 pm because of its intensity 🥵

Pogs (‘tazos’ in Spanish) and spinning tops of all kinds that came inside the potato chips bags: Pokemon, Shrek, Rocket Power, Beyblade... 😱

Inside there were many special Christmas sticker kits, with animals, letters, velvet decorations… but over time I added others that could be bought in Chinese bazaars and even some that we bought at Hamleys on one of the trips to London with my parents 🥹

Today my mother and I went to the place we're finally moving to (I can't reveal much yet) 🤫

And although on our first visit we had to clear weeds in the sun (we came back covered in scratches and pricks from dead rose bushes and an orange tree that had grown out of control), sweep up flaking plaster, clean up expired products, etc., I keep with this image in mind as we leave 😄

Look what I discovered while organizing pens, markers, and other stationery and drawing supplies: the pen I received as a gift when I joined the Spanish Nickelodeon Club after sending in the optional registration form that came inside the Rugrats In Paris VHS as a child 🥹🤩

My father was a portraitist and painter in Plaza Mayor (Madrid), here he had a period where he wanted to do all kinds of experiments, using a lot of techniques to create spatial scenes (some of them somewhat mystical), but inspired by Jean Michel Jarre's 'Oxygène'

And those are the sample portraits he always carried in his cart when he set up his art in the street
