You are in a room all by yourself. The walls, floor, and ceiling are white. Up on the ceiling is a trapdoor hanging down, with an improvised grappling hook notched in it, its strong rope hanging downward. Its hook looks to be ripped off from above the closed, doorknobless metal door on the far wall. Leaning against the door is a ladder. In the center of the room is a waist-high spool with three handles extending horizontally off it like parts of the letter Y. Through the trapdoor right above you, you can see it is somewhat dark up there. It looks like the wall of an airduct up there, but with horrible scratches in the metal, cutting at least an inch thick!

Dirk rose a brow. That was slightly unexpected. “Who’s wedding? And why didnt i know until just now?” He was a tad bit confused, but his face showed no other emotion after his brow dropped. Even with the shades off, he was as stoic as ever.

You’ve entered a new room, but unfortunately, you’ve got company. You see 7 silent beasts in the dark, some licking their massive and pointy teeth with taloned tongues while the algae-like tentacles hanging off their chins sway in a sudden draft from the trapdoor open over…
You quietly and stealthily proceed into the next room, which is surprisingly empty. There are passages continuing off the far, left, and right walls. Meanwhile, a ramp version of what would be a spiral staircase leads downward in the corner where the right and far walls meet.
Six breathed a quiet sigh of relief as he entered the new room, having passed whatever those creatures had been. He let his eyes flicker around the room, searching for the most promising looking way. Taking a deep breath, he tried the passage on the far wall.
You come across two of the beasts in the next room, but these are gold. Strange, hm? One of them is blocking the left exit, while the far and right exits are free. The other one is curled up in the middle. It seems to be tired.
Six hesitated a bit, contemplating his choices. He could certainly continue onward, but, personally, he would opt for the most safe route. The man wasn’t sure what the creatures could do, but he would rather check all his options to see what seemed to have a smaller chance that something undesirable would take places. He decided to go back and look at his previous options.
You look at the room you’ve just left. One golden beast lurks in the far right corner. Speaking of which, there’s another right in the corner. And one in the middle. Sleeping…All the exits (left, right, far, stairs spiraling down) are free, but suddenly you hear a loud DONG! All of the beasts’ scales change color from gold to silver. Weird.
Six froze as soon as he laid eyes on the beasts. When had they come in? He certainly hadn’t heard them, and his senses were quite keen. Not only that, but what was with the color changing? It was certainly suspicious.
He supposed he may as well try the staircase. It didn’t seem like a bad choice.
You walk down the stairs to find a black beast in the shadows. The only other passage goes forward, as you are now facing left of your last position when you reached the bottom of the stairs. There is a trapdoor on the ground, but the beast is on top of it. Oh well. This is going to be tough…
Six bit his lip, pondering whether or not to turn back. In some way, this creature looked more unnerving than those he had passed before. Or at least, in his opinion, it did. However, there was only one here in comparison to the multiple he had encountered in every other room so far. Taking a deep breath, he decided to go forwards, down the passage.
You come across an empty passage only going forward. There is a trapdoor halfway to the next passage.
Six looked around for a few seconds, contemplating where to go. Eventually, he decided to continue down the passage.
Another empty passage greets you, only this time there’s a staircase at the end of it. Oh, and there’s a trapdoor on the ground but that’s not important.
Six glanced at the trapdoor for a few moments before deciding to continue on the staircase.
The pleasant abscence of beasts continues as you come out on top of the stairs, facing the opposite direction of the one you had been before climbing the stairs. There are passages on the far and right walls. And there is another trapdoor in the ground, but that is of no significance.
