i honestly donāt think will is that difficult to understand and you honestly see it in the ways he reacts to your actions in the hot tub double date (and afterwards). though do take this w a grain of salt bc i still am unable to restart a volume after finishing and am basing it on the feedback in reddit. so far, i see three ways it goes down:
you donāt kiss anyone during the double date and will finds out during never have i ever: he āgets weirdly quietā when he finds out heās the only person youāve kissed. iām not taking it to mean that he was hoping you get to fool around and that gives him an excuse to do the same, iām taking it as him being uncomfortable that it LOOKS LIKE youāre getting serious about this way too fast. he says it as much when he wants to have a chat and if you go to the rooftop, the two of you arenāt exclusive and heāll root for you if you get your head turned. will is def the kind of guy who has commitment issues and wants to take things slow and see how it pans out before going all in. iām definitely sensing some vibes that heās uncomfortable if āyouāre more interested in him than he is in you.ā
you kiss at least one person during the double date and you donāt tell will beforehand: as much as will isnāt bothered if youād get your head turned, heād definitely be the type thatās bothered hearing it from someone else. itās not that heās upset youāve kissed someone, because itās early days and his chat proves that heās open to that kind of thing and encourages you to explore and find that spark if you can. itās that you didnāt tell him yourself. heās an open book and he says so himself, heād have kissed them too if the opportunity presented itself. but will would also likely tell you if it happened. i bet you that when najuma and him ābroke it offā he would have been honest w her that he had his head turned by the bombshell (and would have had a fun laugh when najuma replied āmate, same.ā)

Will is sooo chill, I was actually taken aback with how chill he was with the date š and his reaction during NHIE when he's the only one that MC kissed was both shady and intriguing, like has he done something behind MC's back? OH I DO itās got a very special place in my heart and i still get super excited over it!! itās the only series iād read the manga and watch the anime (usually i read more than i watch!). waiting v patiently for season 5 <3
honest first impressions of the litg s4 cast so far
male islanders:
james - he seems like a real sweetheart and earnest about finding something real in the show but then again so was ibrahim and look how that turned out LOL he also seems to have a default crush on mc? i donāt blame him tho tbh. but itās definitely easy to rile him up and i can see him being flustered w most of the other bombshells too.
kobi - thankfully does not seem to be noah 2.0 given that heās stuck with a wannabe hope. seems to still be open to coupling up w someone else but has settled for lexi bc sheās safe (aka waaay more into him, from his perspective). idk itās fun to casually flirt w him bc he isnāt as averse to it like noah and seems to think itās all in good fun.
will - iām biased bc his aesthetic is sooo pleasing and iām thinking of doing his route LOL. i was pleasantly surprised that he liked it if you went off on lexi since he seems too chill for that. not that he likes drama but he doesnāt care for anyone two faced - likes it more when youāre honest about things which is v refreshing coming from a bobby route in s2. will be voted as most afraid of commitment though iām calling it and i canāt wait for that drama to start
hazeem - seems like a nice dude but dear god his mustache is terrifying and i have no idea how thatās attractive honestly. feels like the āalways the mateā of the season. i really donāt have much of an opinion about this dude except that he has great taste in women apparently!

lexi - a definite hope 2.0 and i wonāt be surprised if she kept watching season 2 religiously and tweeted āit should have been nope šā god i love riling her up so much i kind of wish she wasnāt paired w kobi so i could steal her man lol is she an li bc i will die if sheāll be a frenemies to lovers route come on my dudes
najuma - SHEāS FUN, SHEāS FLIRTY, AND SHEāS HERE TO HAVE A PARTY. iām pretty sure that the reason najuma and will decoupled was bc they really couldnāt see a future w each other and respected that. she seems ready to shake things up but it definitely is not w hazeem. lowkey wish that her 2nd LI is a female islander honestly!
angie - seems super cool but likely the guy she has an eye on will be a bombshell too. she just doesnāt seem to be vibing w the guys romantically. chill and not about drama but doesnāt really look away from it. i donāt really have much of an opinion about her but i love her aesthetic and think sheāll be a good friend.
thabi - sheās so sweet and everything hannah could have been! i almost feel bad about choosing will but heās the only one so far thatās caught my eye LOL but she doesnāt seem to have any hard feelings and i appreciate that she doesnāt think too badly of the mc when you do tell her that youāre just playing the game. honestly i think will might be awkward around her and likely knows about her little crush. u can cut the tension w a butter knife and itās not really the good kind of tension u feel me
mc - give this girl a tv did she not watch the show?? we usually have like inside gossip of our own from bombshells (e.g. chelsea). but also iām just assuming that the footages havenāt been post processed yet so the public is likely still on episode 1 when the mc drops in. anyway i appreciate that we can get options for a kind of ādo no harm, but take no shitā attitude.

So, in the real Love Island, the bombshells go into lockdown and they don't get to see every episode leading upto it. For example, there was a bombshell who had admitted she wanted to crack on with a guy who'd left 3/4 days prior and hadn't known he'd left until she literally walked in. If this is day 3, which I believe is stated, this is fairly accurate, especially as the first bombshell - she wouldn't have seen anything as she would have been in lockdown the entire time since the public would have known something about her existence.

Just a little note, but Priya doesnāt have the insider info like Chelsea, since Priya comes in so early. So iām assuming weāre Priya in this situation and we arenāt actually that dumb LOL
yeah ofc! tho priya was introduced as a bombshell not even a day after. iām just assuming that MC went in at about day 3 or 4. Lurik comes in at day 5 and already knows about the Lottie/Gary kiss so i was assuming it might have been the same LOL but youāre right, MC might not have had the chance to watch it yet anyway!
