I wish I was a better daughter to you overall. I've said things I never apologized for and I wish I had. The last two years have been hell for you since you had your first stroke so in a way, at least you're free now. I miss you dad and I'll try my best to remember the you before you became ill. It sucks that in the time even before you became ill, i've been stuck in my own head in a state of burnout, anxiety and depression and just hid away from everything.

I'm glad it was sunny on the day of the funeral and burial, you could hear magpies, ibises and some rosellas in the distance. Just missing the goats from the next property over from the cemetery. I think you would've liked that. I'm glad we have family here who rallied in to help organise the church funeral because I have no idea if I'd have been able to on my own. Our family preferred to avoid funeral planning in advance bc it meant accepting your time left was limited. A part of me still thinks childishly that you've live forever and would definitely outlive me. I'm glad we were able to give you a funeral in the church community you poured a lot of your time, money and effort into. There was really no other place for it.

izawa confessed to yamauchi twice bc he got rejected the first time, here's izawa sad and yelling at the ocean bc he is sad about it. it also took two attempts for yamauchi to agree on moving in together LMAO

hana also fell for akiyama but then fell for kido later so that worked out phewww

the dream/imagination sequences are cute too, there's one where a mii will imagine themselves with their love interest and then they practice their confession. akiyama is rejected even in his own practice run tho?!?!!?! (dw it was actually fine when he did, but so far he's the only mii to confess with a cake with his own face on it...)

it was funny unlocking the holiday tickets thing bc i thought yamauchi would invite izawa to go with him but LMAO araaki???? also seeing great ocean road as part of their itinerary was a jump scare since i've also been there lololol

also the moving in together system is so funny

OMFG the weddings on tomodachi life, idk how but they picked the perfect adjectives for araaki and iyama > the city-slicker Akiyama and the oh-so-serious Arai > the big star Izawa and the starry-eyed Yamauchi > the warmhearted Kido and prudent Hana <-somehow still accurate but not as WOW as the prev two lol

ok this is my favourite thing from today, i made his jacket and then gave him the dance dvd and was treated to a canon event (dance battle real)

izawa and akiyama are ultra friends but im honestly surprised at how well yamauchi and akiyama get along, if izawa didn't get a crush on yamauchi first i'd think those two would eventually date... should i let the miis do their own thing and let it go naturally?

(bc of it being a demo, yamauchi is stuck at acquaintances for another ten days)

i also started another file but with hana and arai but i'd honestly rather wait until the full game so i can have them on the one island. they are cute tho, but i think i'll make arai's eye colour darker bc he's scaring me. he just stares into my soul like that LOL
