She takes my hand in hers

A pen occupies the other

She’s not holding it out of love

But to make art

A heart now adorns the back

Her mark

“She gets a heart because she’s mostly positive.” she says to a boy.

“Mostly?” I inquire.

“You’re only negative when it’s about you.” A sad smile crosses her face.

My hand falls

Her warmth is gone and I have only myself

I wish I could get over the way you smiled at me today. You called my name and waved and the world stopped spinning for a minute. I though I saw you glancing at me in art and I about died when you called my project good. I wish I could make you feel the way you make me feel. Most of all I wish I could get over you because I know I never will. But a girl can dream.

Just when you

Think you want the storm to pass, remember

What you might miss, what

Could be the most amazing thing, and you’d

Have to make do, knowing it is

Done

Is it so fucking wrong

to expect the fucking
