You Were My Last Regret.

Pretty long rant ahead... I absolutely hate when I see somebody talking poorly about people who believe in God. Is it really so hard for you to accept that somebody believes in something they have no proof of? If you aren't religious then I respect that, but respect that some people are. So many people try to pick apart a religion to a believer because they think they're helping them, but you're doing quite the opposite. A lot of people look to religion for strength in times of need, and it comforts them believing that there is more to death than just nothingness. When you convince somebody that God isn't real, what have you really done, besides tell them that when they die it's all over and that's that? Many people have found peace in death with the thought of going to Heaven. Instead of being terrified of being nothing more than dirt, they believe they're going to be with their loved ones soon. If nothing else, religion, for the most part, teaches people a good moral code to abide by and follow. How is that a bad thing? If you go to a church, it's a social gathering of like-minded friends and family in a peaceful setting. I personally made a few great friends and a ton of great memories at church related functions. Above all else, like I said before, it's often just that extra bit of strength that somebody might need to get through a rough time, and you're trying to steal that away from them, and I just can't fathom why you'd do it.
