This Blog Belongs To...

Today after work, right when I was about to get into my car, this random guy calls and walks over to me. Nothing looked suspicious about or anything, just a normal looking guy, except there was a faint smell of alcohol coming from him. He said to me that I looked like a guy who doesn't have any girl trouble (in my head I was like "umm, ok...") and starts to vent to me about a problem in his relationship. This guy was 38 and his girlfriend was 25 and they were together for 2 and a half years. He pulled both his and his girl's phone and started talking to me about how he found out that his girl was cheating on him. Long story short, he told me how furious he was, that he just had a shot to try to calm himself down, and that basically he was trying to ask for money so he could get a room so he can be alone for the night and not go home and choke a bitch. He pretty much when on about how he was feeling and saying how just talking to me was helping a bit and that he didn't expect me to really help him out. As I listened to him talk, I could sense that he was genuine in what he was saying and heard the sniffles of when you're trying to hold back tears coming from him. I never do anything like this, but in the end, I ended up giving him the $20 he needed to get a room for the night. It was definitely an interesting moment to say the very least. And not to sound selfish or anything, but hopefully I get some good karma from. I could sure use it for the rest of the week at work.
