Another hot one at the beach today but I'm not complaining. Decided to put on my fins and shoot some photos with my @gopro @gopole this afternoon. Here's a fun inside set of my Japanese friend @tatsuo_takei on a 1970s G&S single fin. If you haven't heard of Tatsuo it's probably because he's usually behind the lens instead of in front of it. But not only is he a talented photographer/ filmmaker but also a rather stylish surfer too. The coolest thing about him is he works 8 months in Japan to save money so he can live out of an old van every summer. He loves to be in California so he can just surf and shoot. The low-tide shore break was not for the faint of heart today. Solid south swell and the warmest ocean water temps I can ever remember in the last 25 years.
