the seats of the car were leather, the sun beamed through the window, as you both sat in his car that smelled like plastic. the keys still in place, as his keychains dangled slowly from your movements, music quietly played as the AC blew loudly.

his blue eyes shined into yours, that feeling in your gut you cant really place. you were addicted to him and his love. you have only known eachother for a week and it felt like the love was real.

“god your amazing” he murmurs.

“so tell me matthew, its hard to believe someone like you is all mine?”

“you better get used to it, i like you so fucking much, princess” he rasps as his head dips down to kiss your neck.

you whined, he made you feel good about yourself like someone important, someone special.

as the weeks went on you hung out, after school, during school, his car, your room, and he even snuck into your window at night.

you were brushing your hair freshly out the shower, water still damp on your forehead, the mirror fogged leaving no reflection.

two cold hands wrapped around your waist which made you gasp and turn quickly, as soon as you saw matt your face softened.

“matt!” you loudly whispered, “my parents are home!” he quickly shushed you, leading you to your bed.

as soon as your back hit the bed, his mouth was all over you. “are you crazy my parents are here i told you!” you protested weakly

he pulled away pouting as he looked around almost confused, he turned back to you and said “that’s weird because i dont see them?” a smirk tugged at his lips

he leans back into you kissing your lips, “matt” you say melting into him.

Matt had been quiet, he hadn’t showed up, hadn’t called or text, it was plain silence. The sun beamed throught the window of your bedroom, tapping on his contact hoping to break this silence.

he felt dry, you tried not to overthink it but the thought of him seeming dry or so bored it worried you. you came prepared to see him, ready to be met with a bundle of joy. To see the boy you can only hold so much love for.

so when it came to the time for you to meet, you grabbed your jacket and left. He wasn’t there and he usually was always the first to come— so you waiting. And waited. You even checked you phone every two minutes but he never came.

you texted again just to make sure before you left but nothing. didnt even read the last few messages you had sent. nobody talks about that heavy feeling in your chest when you’re left with a pit of stupidity.

you thought to wait for him to call or text but nothing it was silent, everyday you texted but nothing came.

and that was the guy you never saw again.
