Hi guys, I really apologize for not being as active on here, I’ve kinda dipped for the past couple of weeks. To be honest I’ve been pushing this back a lot but I’m starting my senior year of high school and I’m applying to colleges. Everything’s a mess with covid and online school, my mental health isn’t where it should be and I think I need to take a break from being on here for a bit. 

I’m not deleting this account by any means, I just won’t be too active on here. I’ll probably pop in every so often and say hi to all the lovely people I’ve met on here, but that’s about it for now. Once I get the hang of everything on my end, hopefully I’ll be able to come back for longer. 

I sincerely apologize to all the people who’ve interacted with me and haven’t received anything back, I haven’t been in a good state recently and I’ve been a bit too overwhelmed by my school issues. I love each and every one of you, I hope all of you are taking care of yourselves and staying hydrated!

The first part has Zuko and Suki. The two of them are labelled with the band name, “Skause & Effect.” Zuko is wearing a brown shirt over a long-sleeve orange shirt and his jeans are grey. The shirt says, “Lush-a,” the middle letter obscured by his black and white guitar strap. His guitar is red with white buttons. He is back-to-back with Suki. His sheet reads, “Zuko / Theater manager / Former violin prodigy / Lives with Aang & Toph / Started a band with Suki as a joke in undergrad, but they got sorta locally famous.”

Suki is wearing a black “Thrasher” baggy shirt over a green collared shirt and her pants are light green. She is wearing red eyeshadow as well. Her bass guitar is light yellow with a green strap. There is a phone above her head which has an arrow pointing to her. It is open to a chat with Sokka. Her message reads, “Quit your job.” Sokka asks, “Why?” Suki answers, “Join my ska band.” Her sheet reads, “Suki / Bartender / Former GSWS major / Finding herself / Lives with childhood best friend Sokka / Started the ska band with Zuko to cheer him up.”

The second part has Jet, Toph and Haru. Jet is wearing an unbuttoned blue and white striped shirt and has something in his mouth. Half of a dragon chest tattoo is also visible on his chest. His sheet says, “Jet / Background vocals / Drummer / (Bartender).” Toph is wearing a turtleneck sweater that reads, “My therapist lives in a barn.” Her sheet reads, “Toph / Keys / (Literally no one knows her major).” Haru is wearing a simple green shirt. He has a goatee and his mustache from canon. His sheet reads, “Haru / Brass / (Geologist).”

The third part has Mai and Ty Lee. Mai is wearing a lab coat over a black dress and working on her computer, next to a set of microscopes and test tubes. Her sheet reads, “Mai / Microbio grad student / Dad’s a local politician / Lives with Ty Lee and girlfriend Azula / Fullbright scholar.” Ty Lee is wearing a pink blouse and blue skirt and sitting next to Mai on a turned chair, with her elbows resting on the back of it. Her sheet reads, “Ty Lee / Professional Ballerina / Considering going to college / Always wanted to be a nurse.”

somebody who has actively chosen to practice their religion faithfully, to wear the hijab, to dress modestly is not oppressed . Someone who is forced into a religion and forced to prcatice and forced to wear the hijab is oppressed . learn the diffecnce. There are Arab countries / islamic countries that use islam and the hijab as oppression. we all know who wrong and disgusting that is and its not all of our countries and we do not like them countries or what they’ve done to our religion and to people, so don’t try and make the conversation “ oh x county does that x country does this ” because we know. we know and we hate it. Islam has always been a peaceful religion and they are making it pure oppression. we hate so  do not even try to turn the conversation like that. ( and again they are not all our countries do proper research before you start to bring peoples homes into please) 

stop acting like every hijabi/ islamic women needs to be freed from her religion to be happy. yes there are woman who have suffered from the countries and oppression as I  talked about before and they deserve to be heard and represented in the media but when that’s the only Muslims you represent Its putting out the message that that is the only muslims there is . Every type of muslim deserves to be seen and deserves rep in the media, no just the stories the west and non muslims use to make islam look worse and themselves better. these stories are real and  should not be shut down but they should not be the only islamic rep in media.
