Sweet serenity.

So, I don't consider myself much of a writer. I'm more of a talker. Seeing as I don't feel like waiting two hours to upload a video to YouTube, Tumblr is my second choice. Lately I've been more aware of my surroundings. I found myself in a place where I was waking up every day and doing the same exact things. You don't even realize it, either. You don't become bored, you become comfortable. And that's okay, it's not wrong. But for someone who lives life in fast forward it's not okay. So you can see where the problem is. I could literally feel my body giving out from lack of sleep, food, and basically a lack of any excitement. I woke up, went to work, came home and moped about nothing. Sounds great, right? Wrong. So wrong. I realized this when I was with friends. I said out loud, that I felt as if it's been 10 years since I graduated. Kids, it's been one. One full year. I've traveled alone, gotten my heart broken, gotten into a shit ton of trouble and then I came right back home and got a full time job that consumed my life. WHAT?! Ever since that night I've been in a constant state of self awareness. I wake up, and I take my time to enjoy my cup of coffee before going into work. Then I go to work, and I'm the brightest soul in the room because what the actual fuck is the point in being mean and bitter? And let me tell you, a job is a job but man, they can be rough. Always remember to treat the world better than it treats you. It may be little, but it could mean everything. Stay out late. Get into trouble. Drink 3 red bulls a day and binge out on Taco Bell. Stay in with your cat and watch movies that make you laugh so hard you cry. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. Life is too god damn short and your life is too precious to live it any other way. Whatever you're going through, whatever you're struggling with, it'll be okay. I pinky promise that. The world is full of nasty and horrible people and situations, but we all have good inside of us. Don't let the world knock out us nice people. It may kick, and punch, and beat us down until we're broken and withered but we'll make it through this journey together. As a whole.
