i decided to make a sideblog for my subtitling projects. i’m kicking it off with the exclusive episode 12.5 of osomatsu san season 4. the episode is indeed just a recap of previous episodes, so i only translated the relevant bits that haven’t been seen yet. first of all, it has been confirmed 100% that osomatsu san had to be toned down amidst complaints that it was too excessive. in other words, classic characters like “completely naked man” will not be making a reappearance :,(

second, i hope everyone can appreciate that this season was rather unprecedented and did not turn out the way it was supposed to.

finally, “beauty to ugly transformation”. what does that mean? this phrase and “compilation” are pronounced the same way, but read differently. i believe it refers to the series’ perceived decline in quality.
