Though large in stature, his steps tread light and nearly soundless through the corridor. Benjamin wandered without rhyme or reason – aside from the restlessness that resided in the pit of his gut. Something that he wasn’t exactly fond to acknowledge, but still chose to try and find an outlet regardless.
While he knew of the gym on the first floor, he opted to walk up both flights of stairs. Usually, Benjamin would amble his way into the library, but he found himself outside of the studio instead. Perhaps a good stretch would help. Either that or a bit of yoga – maybe even both. First, he went through the motions of his standard stretches; all the while he focused on relaxing rather than the excess energy. When that was all said and done, he decided to follow through with a few yoga poses.
Bit by bit, he felt more at ease. So much so that he startled when he heard the door suddenly open. All it took was the slightest shift of weight before he lost balance. Thankfully, the flop downwards was scant, but he still landed with a light ‘oomf’. “Sorry, uh– you looking to use the space?”
He didn’t understand why the master had taken such offense to what Mateo had said, honestly he’d meant no harm by it, the master had just given him a demand that he refused to follow, and what happened next was eventful to say the least, and it ended with Mateo leaving the situation - something he wasn’t supposed to do but he had to, things were about to get bad.
He needed to let the master cool down, though when he saw him coming after him yelling he knew that wasn’t happening anytime soon, and that’s when the asset picked up his pace to get away faster. He was NOT being caught by this asshole today and getting into further trouble - he just needed to make his quick escape and be done with it. The master would get over it, forget all about their interaction, he just had to give him time for HOPEFULLY another asset to work their magic on him.
He bound up the stairs, fast on his feet to the third floor, knowing that he couldn’t just go and hide out in his room because that would be the obvious choice. Instead he reached for the door handle of the first room he came to, the studio, and bolted inside shutting the door quick behind him. When he heard someone behind him he quickly turned, his heart about leaping into his throat though it settled when he saw who it’d been - someone who WASN’T here to get him.
“Sorry, didn’t know there was someone in here,” not that it’d make him leave anytime soon, “I uh, it okay if I hang out in here for a bit?”
