I realize- the saddest part is how the more I opened up to being myself, the more distant you became. I had my walls put up high for so long, but I put em down for you because I really believed things would be different. Guess that’s what I get for being such a hopeless romantic in the moment.

I really thought everything was going well. I don’t think I’ve ever given so much of my all into a relationship. I was so excited to plan for our anniversary. I saw a future with you. I’ve never felt so blindsighted and disheartened.

we’re not even half way through the year.

all it took for me was an evening of being completely alone to reconnect with myself and remembering how much self-love I have.
