I Love Them

I’m not sure how many OsoSan blogs followed me over after the purge, but I wrote a little something something with the holiday’s in mind. Pay attention to the rating and tags, and enjoy!

Osomatsu greeted me at the door with a big grin and a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken hugged to his chest. My brows shot up in disbelief, unhindered despite my best attempts to school my expression into one of charmed surprise. It was hard though, trying to reign in my emotions when he’d caught me so thoroughly off guard like this, and I quickly found myself returning his smile with a bemused one of my own.

“What is that!” I impulsively blurted, even though I could read the bold white letters with a near startling clarity and I knew exactly what it was.

Ever unperturbed, Osomatsu cocked his head to one side and laughed. “Its our Christmas dinner! You’ve got the booze, so I figured I’d get this for us so you didn’t have to worry about cooking anything! Pretty smart of me, huh?”

Fixing him with a rueful look, I reached out and hooked my finger inside the neck of his hoodie so I could physically pull him into my apartment. He was unsurprisingly compliant, eagerly shuffling in with that boyish grin still plastered all over his face. It was amazing, how one man could be so painfully predictable in some ways and yet completely spontaneous in others. To say that I hadn’t expected this turn of events would be an egregious understatement.

“Well,” I purred as I leaned up to give Osomatsu a quick peck on the lips, much to his obvious delight. “If you’d been smart enough to check with me first, we wouldn’t be in this awkward position now would we?”

“Eh?”

Out of all of the matsus, osomatsu was the only one who questioned free food before eating it first
