Wow, you are confused huh? That’s okay. For starters, I read your post, about being bitten. This is the Dalton Mansion, you were brought here and tested. Your results were that you are a slave, so you’re here to serve the Masters, like me. And you have to, like, listen to us and stuff. Do what we say. We’ve all lived here forever, the Masters. You’ve been brought here to satisfy us. Am I making sense?

I was wondering when you were going to poke your head out, Silas. Long time no see. What have you been up to, man? Other than being bored — which I can definitely fix if nobody else has volunteered to already.

You were? That’s awesome of you! Thanks for that Hunter! I’ve just been flitting about, meandering, exploring. Trying to make the most of my time! What have you been up to, man? I’ve had a couple of offers, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have time for you too! What did you have in mind handsome?

Legolas felt the sweater being brought up so fast that he fell out of the opening of it and onto the floor. With a grunt, he stood up, and looked up at the fellow faerie before replying. “I wasn’t hiding.” The boy huffed. “I don’t like that sweater, it’s too big.” Legolas complained. He had been here a week and was only still getting used to not being able to be outside at all hours of the day. “Could you take me outside? Y-you’re fae, you know.. d-don’t you?”

Silas winced as he watched the other faerie fall to the ground. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were in there.” Although it dawned on him that he had no business apologizing to a slave, something within him couldn’t help himself. Another strike against him in the eyes of the other Masters, and probably more chastising he’d have to deal with later. Silas chuckled a bit at the frustration Legolas was displaying, though not in a mean or rude way. Mentally, he put himself in the other faerie’s shoes, bringing a better understanding of how much he’d hate that position as well, were he placed in it. He nodded when questioned. “Yeah, of course I know. If I take you outside, will you act decent?” Silas asked. 

Legolas overheard the voice of a new master, his scent familiar. After a week being brought into this awful place, his curiosity in him arose. Just wearing a long gray sweatshirt, he glanced out towards the front of his cell and caught a glimpse of the master. Quickly, he shrunk himself to his original size of just five inches, and decided to hide at the overly sized sweatshirt. He may of gotten rid of his only piece of clothing, but the collar remained: it had become a nuisance really.

Silas’ neck was on a swivel, taking in everything around him. He knew he’d reached the lower levels of the Mansion, a place he hadn’t ventured to ever before. He knew his Master friends might chastise him for exploring so far down, but his faerie curiosity got the better of him. What appeared to be a discarded sweater lay balled in the corner of the floor. Furrowing his brows, Silas made his way over, picking up the garment to examine it and revealing a faerie in the process. Smiling, he crouched down, bringing himself as close to face-to-face as possible. “Well hello there! Why are you hiding?”

Aren’t you the cutest. You sound worried about the slaves. You’ll want to watch that. Someone might take you for weak and then I’d have to stab them.

Am I? Because that would be awesome. But, there are a lot of cutie patooties around here. Like, a whole ton! Thank you for the tip, Ambrose. I’ll work on being better about that. I wouldn’t want you to have to stab anyone. I like your wink.

Don’t we all love a good intro. You’re too kind to them, really. I’m up for a drink, if you are. You know I make the best teas.

Apparently not, but thank you for saying so Rowena. Am I? I should probably work on that. But, maybe not. Everyone needs some kindness sometimes, I think. A drink would be great, you do always make the best tea! You’re too good to me, beautiful. 

Calling out to the slaves in your generosity, Silas? That’s cute of you. You can do that, oooooooooooor you could come hang out with me. I’m way cooler than anyone down there in the basement and hotter too. 

Hey, Remy! Yeah, sure, why not? I could use the company, I figure they could use the escape. Should I not? Do that? Oh, yeah! I love hanging out with you! You’re totally great! I can come over, that would be cool! Should I also bring a slave?

Favourite fae? Hardly. There’s more than just you here, Sy - there’s competition… like me. I’m more than fae enough to be someone’s favourite, surely.

Wow, you’re rude. Huh. I must have missed the part where this is supposed to be a competition. Just like you must have missed the part where I used what I said as a figure of speech. Read the room, Ashe. Or, maybe read the post. I was just excited and happy to introduce myself. Way to ruin a day. I hope that made you feel better about yourself.
