folks might have noticed that my blog rn is kind of borked. the desktop version of the page is just a black screen right now. If you need to see my muse list, i'm gonna take screenshots of the mobile versions below. Thus far, the only way ive been able to view/navigate it is on mobile, with the "mobile view" slider selected on my phone. Idk if that helps anyone, but until i get this fixed, it's the only option i have right now

Why is he excited about getting hit in the face? Bass is bracing himself for the hit.

"Waiting and ready!"

Ghost widened his stance as if he were about to charge. And then as fast as Bass could blink, Ghost had closed the gap between the two of them, with his right arm wound back. Air rushed past Bass from the force of just how quickly Ghost had closed the distance between them, and there was an ominous green glow from behind the darkened visor of his helmet.

Ghost took a swing, and--

thunk!

...flicked the front of Bass' helmet. Right between the eyes.

"Gotcha...!"

The small thunk on the helmet made Bass think something big was about to happen.

But nothing did.

"Oh you're just a little cheeky ×××× aren't you? Fine. We won't fight but if we ever really have to fight, I'm breaking my rule of giving you the first swing."

Is he mad about getting excited about getting punched and not getting punched? Yes. By a lot.
