It is not a Mike has to learn to deal with wills family dynamic he’s been a part of that family for years

also that shit in almost every fic where all the party make fun of Mike would never happen. Or where Mike is the one in the wrong for having his feelings hurt over them saying mean things to him. They would not be bullies and even him and max have a good relationship, I can see her insulting him a little bit not in a mean way but he gets to insult her right back if that’s how youre going to write them.

Mike does not have to pay for not being the greatest best friend or boyfriend in canon unless everyone else also has to face consequences, will for lying and helping support a relationship when a friends should have told the truth about them not being good to each other and being hurt by mike not understanding he loved him when he chose to lie about the painting, Jane for not forgiving Mike when the reason he lied was her dad threatening Mike or not communicating that his letters hurt her feelings at all and lying about her friends so he felt he couldn’t trust her. And I’m not even saying there shouldn’t be any problems with all of that I just wish it was all treated equally instead of everyone choosing to make Mike carry the blame
