Another day, another morning, another coffee, more feeling of monotony when seeing the people you don't want to see and the things you don't feel like doing. Let's break the chain and hold up two fingers to it all. Make today yours, happen to life.

It's finally autumn - the leaves have changed and so has the weather. Cold air bites skin and chills play in the wind. Pink cheeks and noses wrapped in scarfs and wool hats. I'm so in love with fall right now, and how cozy and cool it feels. Fun fact - Their fist album, The Postelles, was produced by the lovely AHJ ; )

Let's just stop and take a moment to appreciate the genius that is the Strokes' rhythm (and sometimes lead) guitarist. I have loved and cherished Albert Hammond Jr.'s two solo albums and his latest EP. Each have their own distinct sounds but both have complexity and depth that is hard to come by.  And to top it off, he designs and sells 2-piece suits. The suit Ryan Gosling wears in Crazy Stupid Love? Designed by our boy AHJ. Style really can be sexy.

Effort deserves outcome and this week has demanded a lot... so let's just dance and cook pancakes. Take a break, it's Sunday!

This morning feels like dancing (flailing) in the kitchen while brewing (instant) coffee in my pajamas (underwear) and turning up the music so loud my (permanently drunk) neighbors think twice next time they decide to have a party on the night of my finals...

HOW DID IT TAKE ME THIS LONG TO KNOW THIS EXISTED??!! I feel extremely disappointed in myself, but exceedingly excited that has Spoon released new music. Why didn't I know about this?! - - Oh well... Cheers to a group who's music fits my every mood. Thank you Spoon! <3
