Into The Fire|| Mason & Juno
"Not always," she said, certain that he had no idea just what he was talking about with regard to normal. To her, he was normal. But, for some reason, it didnât immediately put her off, which was a rather strange development. She listened more to him talking about Eris. " Are you from Eris?" she paused for a fraction of a second, crossing her arms and looking at him with dark, piercing eyes. "Because if youâre not, then you have absolutely no idea what itâs like to live there. No matter how many visits you make. Itâs not the kind of place that you can learn about, itâsâŚhome. You wonât understand it unless you come from it.â "Some women are both," she told him, still thinking about Eris and what his documentary would do to it. She set her eyes on his flashy little camera, wondering how much it would go for at the shop. Not that she was thinking about lifting it; it was hard to steal from those she befriended. But based on the camera, she knew he couldnât have been from Eris. No one there could afford something like that; well, nobody except for maybe her and Bronwyn. "Listen, about Eris, why did you choose it? Why did you make it the subject of your documentary?"
"I'm not just making it from my perspective." Mason pointed out with a frown on his face. "It's mostly from people that live there's point of views. Interviews and stuff like that... If you're stubborn though then maybe I'll just have to move there." Who knew, maybe she was right? He just knew that he'd been fascinated since he was a little kid about the darker kinds of things... and Eris was sort of like that. It wasn't exactly a high class place. Quite the opposite actually.
"Yes. Those ones sometimes scare me. But they'd scare me if they were men too so... that's just me." He said and chuckled but then had to think about the answer to the question, wondering how to word it as carefully as he wanted to. "Well... when I was a kid my mum told me not to go in there, because I almost did. I got curious about it and sneaked into it once and I guess that's just how it sparked. I wanted to know about it, experience it, help a little bit maybe... I don't know for sure why I did it. It caught my eye I guess."
