Meanwhile above Ns slaves away at a job he definitely doesn't enjoy as he yearns to prove the existence of merfolk in secret. I originally thought of shortening his hair in this AU to reflect his younger self and how he never really grew away from his family's expectations. Unfortunately this never came to be because I struggle at making Ns look like himself and I thought if I altered a key element he wouldn't be recognizable anymore :(
