An artistic recreation (re-interpretation? i dunno) of Dark Souls’ Ash Lake, one of my all time favorite areas in a video game.

I’ve been experimenting lately with how to approach photorealism; I used to just sorta blindly throw color into a scene without thought, but now I’m trying to strike a balance between cool and warm colors to match something you’d see in real life. I think I’m getting better at it, but hey who knows.
