i was like 'what could jorts it possibly mean' but as with many things clicking the original post immediately clarified the situation

“some people don’t deserve redemption” redemption isn’t something that’s deserved, it’s something someone does. it’s making the choice to change the way you live your life, to be better, to do good things instead of bad things and try to make up for the bad things. and everyone can and should do that, at any time, no matter what they’ve done. we can’t change the past, but we can choose what kind of person to be now and in the future. we have the responsibility to do so. it is so completely not about “deserving.”

i think people get so used to their own creative work that they forget how amazing it is so i’m making this post as a reminder You are the only person capable of making art the exact way you make it. nobody else on earth can do that. there are always going to be those little habits and intricacies and details that simply cannot be replicated whether it’s in writing or painting or textiles and you make life all the better for it i love my friends’ art i love art from strangers im trying to love my own art I LOVE YOU!!! I think it's important to remember that GLP-1s are quite literally medicine. There are medical reasons to use them. They have amazing medical benefits for many millions of people across the world. Using the new near-miracle diabetes drug that gave my father a new lease on life for trying to look anorexic isn't good, yeah, but it ain't the chemical's fault: It's two industries and a force of societal oppression doing that. Quit applying moral values to a life-improving chemical just because some people with too much money are misusing it. Keep your head in the game.

a funny thing about having a Problematic Blorbo is that you'll periodically come across a post along the lines of "um let's not forget that [Blorbo] is a bad person..." listing their various crimes, and if you have a modicum of intellectual honesty you find yourself nodding along and saying yeah it's true... but it's the greyness of their character that makes them so compelling... At the same time though you have a little Saul Goodman in your ear going "your honor in their defense: who cares like omfgggg who caresssssss like come onnnnnn"
