Mystic Pop Up Bar is another one of those shows where all the twists are telegraphed pretty clearly so the viewers know what's up and the tension comes from anticipating character reaction rather than our own shock. I think this is an unappreciated form if storytelling because of its simplicity but I really like it.

Sometimes family is a clueless, childish supernatural couple, their adoptive empath son, and the single solitary braincell shared among the three.
