Saltcoats Castle, just outside Gullane taken just before Christmas. Not exactly small, but well hidden - it’s easily missed as you’re driving into the village from the west as it sits among the trees and farm outbuildings over the golf course. Inveresk Church in Musselburgh, just before sunset. Built on the site of a Roman Fort and a landmark for miles around. I remember testing out the theory here that if you walked around a church anti-clockwise three times, you would disappear into some other world.
