My activity here is mostly low to none, so apologies for that. If you wish to thread with my selection of fighters, it’s already linked on where it is. If we had a thread, i’m still thinking of proper idea replies, draft or not. I won’t pester anyone even if thread takes eons or forever. This applies to my other multi-muses.

He wouldn’t blame her, no–A light scolding later? Perhaps, Adelheid wasn’t an idiot even if he did numerous things to keep Rose safe and away from that man; She was her own person, she was younger than he was. It was inevitable that she would eventually go outside without telling him, he wasn’t her prisoner after all; But this….

“–He hit you.”

His blood was boiling, and yet he has to force that rage down, rapidly at that. God knows that Rose just saw it, the side to their father that he had often borne witness to. Adelheid forces himself to take a deep breath, before descending onto one knee to change the differences between their heights. He makes sure to move slowly when he gingerly moves a hand to cup her cheek, hoping how cool it is at this moment will soothe the swelling even by just a little.

There were many a time he’d wanted to run away, but Heidern had been right; That instinct had come with his youth.

“….I’m sure you know how I feel about him, and even if it’s not what I wanted–You saw and experienced why.”

Is he speaking gently enough? He’s not sure.

“I can’t make you choose me, and I won’t tell you not to choose him even if that’s what I personally want. So I’ll ask this instead: Rose, do you want to stay with me? Does it make you happy?”

The next words that will come out of his mouth are difficult beyond belief to push past his lips, but they are true nonetheless. A part of him wonders if that thought that always nagged at the back of his head might indeed be true, that Rose resented him rather than loved him.

“Regardless of who you choose, I’m always going to be your big brother.”

To be slapped by her own father hurts inside. Rose do love her father very much but she had no clue on his history. She shyly nods to admit that. Rose never believed in what Verse did after his downfall, therefore she believed that he was been hiding for decades even after 2003.

She may have given choices on who to choose according to her father. Him or her brother, it was a tough decision. Rose always admires her brother very much but so is her father, before death that she shared the similar traits from him.

“As much as i needed more time to decide, Father gave me two days to finalize.” That was also he said since they have ‘met’ even if she’s not supposed to meet him. Two days or otherwise, she had no clue on what will hit her. Right when he asked something, she doesn’t hesitate to answer. “Being with you is enough for me. It would be nice if we’re together with Father.” If only Rugal can change but he isn’t. He’s obssessed with power and destruction.

Rose would wish to just pick her brother than him but she needed to know his history. Their father’s history as she was only proud of his strength but doesn’t know his true nature.

Knowing Rose isn’t stubborn but arrogant, even a girl is vulnerable by chances. She was outside that time as she wasn’t supposed to meet Rugal but fate had met them together. She still remembered on her first ‘meeting’ on him that realized that her brother was right. Her cheek had red on it, possibly slapped her that time.
