Today Marta reviewed the infamous “deuxième session”: “ I tried it this year and I don’t like it, it’s not for me”.
For the uninformed reader: deuxième session is what summer resits of exams are called in French in Belgium. They are notorious for their disproportionate dislike amongst university students, as most study related activities are.
Moreover, it turns out I lied in a past post: TODAY is in fact the first time Marta made it to the rat infested compost to dump our organic waste. Last time, the paper bag she put the compost in disintegrated a few meters away from our apartment building, as paper is also composted. Marta lives and she learns. #selfimprovement

Marta is enjoying season 2 of Gossip Girl much more than its first sequence.
Marta knows the term hush money, in her words: she’s “been in this business before”. Another one of her today’s observations: “I thought Blair was above these high school shenanigans”.

Marta started watching Gossip Girl (yesterday I think?). She says it makes no sense that Dan would be Gossip Girl. Today is also the day she made her first trip to the neighbourhood compost! Go Marta! She has transferred some olive oil from the giant container to a glass kombucha bottle with a cork pouring out extension. (Just middle class white liberal things).
