Your commission prices are outrageously high for what they are worth

I’m sorry if you cannot afford my art… maybe my commissions are not for you. But next time you have a problem with another artist’s prices… Please.. Please do not mention to them that their art is not worth the prices THEY themselves put up. We work very hard to make sure whoever commissions us is left with something wonderful and worth the money THEY, THE CUSTOMER pays us.

The worst thing you can tell an artist is “your art is not worth that much.” Artists set up their prices for many reasons. A lot of low priced commissions I see that are out there can be for emergencies! I do commissions to pay for taxes and food and ocassionally treat myself out. I also believe my art is worth more than $5.

I’m sorry for this long rant, but I want YOU to make sure you think before telling an artist how much their art is worth.
