You look at the number of female directors, writers, producers, there are very, very few. Financiers, there are very, very few. There’s a lot of actresses. There’s a lot of brilliant actresses, there aren’t that many good roles for them. (…) Again, I’m very lucky but finding them is very hard. I get offered some great things but there’s a lot of people. It’s a very crowded pool and a lot of the scripts that are really great are coming to quite a number of us and you have to fight for it.”

Requested by @kajaono​: “The ending scene of x men 3 is totally in parallel to the dark phoenix ending. X men 3 ends with Erik in this park, without a home and powers, and noone to play chess with. Dark Phoenix ends with Charles without a home and without anyone to play chess with but then Erik appears and offers him a chess match and a home.“
