Sometimes I wish (some) people would understand that Erik is one dude making all this.

One guy making the audios.

One guy editing the audios.

One guy posting the audios on not one but two platforms and keep up with everything on both platforms.

And one guy trying to keep everything sorted, plus the timeline/quiz/merch website.

Not including his own personal life because bro has a job, has a husband, has a house and all that to keep up with too, and now the stuff with his family, and his own medical stuff.

That guy has a lot on his plate.

It’s a fundamentally different medium which means you treat it differently. You use your imagination to picture the descriptions in a book, you let yourself be fooled by the cgi in movies, you immerse yourself rather than bawking at it the moment you hear them reply to nothing because it’s considered cringe.

And like any medium, the quality varies. There are amazing creators and amateurs, but because it takes so little budget, it’s largely amateurs. And I love that, it’s an incredible way for people to tell stories, get into voice acting, etc.
