Sylvie set up her table in the park, hoping for a few casual sales to save her bank account, but she definitely didn't expect this. A guy walked up to the stand and asked how much the mince pies were. When she told him they were $17 each, he didn't even blink, he straight-up said he’d take the entire batch.

Time completely stood still. In a single, breathless second, the chaos of the park quieted down.

Sylvie was so completely speechless that she instantly tried to offer him a discount for $10 each, but he wouldn't hear it. He insisted on paying the full $17 per pie, leaving her with a very nice +$204 profit and completely empty pastry trays.

Now she’s back home trying to unwind with a book and some coffee, but her brain is absolutely refusing to cooperate. The bill money might be sorted, but she can't stop wondering exactly who that mystery guy was...

Sylvie just took one look at her current billing estimate and almost lost her mind. Between the lot taxes, power, and water, the grand total comes out to a painful $1,052, which would be fine, if she didn't currently only have $875 sitting in her bank account.

Realizing you're short on bill money is a specific kind of panic, but Sylvie is nothing if not resourceful. Time to fire up the oven! She whipped up a batch of freshly baked mince pies to try and turn a quick profit, setting up a table out in the park to sell them off.

Let's just hope she gets as lucky with these as she did with the lemonade sales, or the power is getting cut.
