Another day passes at the manor. When Mina next wakes, it is to an excruciating pain.

She is lifted off the ground as if possessed, spinning in a purple mist of agony. Terror seizes her heart once more.

Clenching every muscle, she goes to scream but finds she cannot, her voice paralyzed as the transformation finally takes hold.

Mina feels every cell in her body die as the physical anguish comes to a climax.

When her feet once again touch the ground, she is reborn as a creature of the night. Sure enough, her reflection is nowhere to be found in the cobwebbed mirror next to her bed.

And yet, she knows she is beautiful in a way no living thing could ever be. She is ravishing, and also ravenous.
