Maris Stella

Maris Stella is a Miraculous Ladybug Original Character Alternate Universe, or a MLBOCAU. The Kwamis remain the same, but the humans Holders have all been replaced by OCs.

Originally I was going to use only my own OCs but I borrowed some from friends (and some of their friends joined in.) Oh and a few canon characters from other series ended up in here.

I'll be focusing as my OCs here, and mostly the major ones (being the Holders) though if you have a question for some of the Kwamis, that might be fun too. I'll probably just be answering questions from friends and not interacting much with other posts- maybe.

Ever read fanfiction about yourself? And those who do, is there anything you especially love or hate to see in them?

Naota: I once almost read a fanfic about me and Tenechat, just out of curiosity, but it got so much of our civilian lives completely wrong.

Fletcher: Like what?

Naota: Your name was Arnold and you were a football star, and I was a transfer student named Kasumi who loved figure skating and missed the ice rink. And okay, figure skating does sound fun I have nothing against it, I'd love to go ice skating more often. But it was so weird seeing this completely different version of us on the page.

Fletcher: What's the ship name?

Naota: Arumi.

Naota: Anyway, Arumi hates Arnold because she thinks he's a flirt because girls are constantly all over him, as if any of that was his fault! But Arnold totally loves Kasumi because she's super athletic and takes up roller skating. Meanwhile Kasumi has a huge crush on Tenechat while he has no interest in Maris.

Hikaru: Oh hey, I think I remember reading about this one on TVTropes. That's the one where all the secondary Holders got Akumatized and ou and Tenechat had to fight us all.

Naota: And my Lucky Charm ended up being a ball of yarn.

Hikaru: What were the Akumatized names we had again? I think I was Fenraged or something. Justin was Chaos Kong. Sylvana was Baphomet- they got really lucky with that one.

Naota: Oh, Sylvana was an autistic transbian named Elliot who loved motorcycles. Guess they were extrapolating from the jetpack thing. And you were an influencer named Crystal and you and Elliot had a thing going on. Oh and King Sting was given a sympathetic motive, he was helping because Riodinidae agreed to make his parents fall back in love, and he was upset because his little brother was taking the divorce hard.

Yukari: What was my civilian self like?

Bit of a wild question.

I remember when you tried to use timetravel to fix as many thing as you could, one of your scrapped ideas involved permanently replacing Riodinidae with Madame Butterfly. It didn't work because she was just too different from Yukari.

Have you ever considered just keeping the Butterfly yourself to create a villanious persona, so you could orchestrate everything perfectly? Did that fail too, or would that be just too much to keep track of?

I know it doesn't matter much anymore since Naota solved the curse and we know who has the Butterfly now - I just got curious if you ever flirted with the option.

Yuu: Sometimes my luck is unpredictable... I don't want to push it by making enemies out of my friends, even if I'm pretending

Hey Yukari, after becoming the Butterfly Holder, have you ever wondered how well it goes with your name? Do you think it was fate, or just a funny coincidence - or maybe your parents liked that name because of the Butterfly?

Yuu: There is no such thing as coincidence, only Hitsuzen. And nominative determinism.

Yukari: My cousin's joking. It was just a coincidence. My name happens to be a color and all objects have colors. The Butterfly happens to be purple, yes, but I also own an orange sweater. And a pink bath towel. And a red scarf. And a blue dress. I've also got a purple T-shirt and purple hairbrush. Some of the stuff I own is purple, some of it is not.

Any thoughts on your recent battle against the Knight? Or how you think you'll do against Ruthless?

Shichibug: The Knight was a powerful foe, but we still overcame them. No matter what happens with Ruthless, I am certain we can do the same.

Dawnbringer: The Knight took a lot out of me. I'm worried about heading back into battle so soon. But we'll manage.

Hey Bakeneko, let's say you were forced to swap Miraculous with your partner. What name and costume you'd pick as a Ladybug Holder?

[Note: Hoping to do a Dreamline thing again, but I want to do other things first, so no rush]

The seven spotted ladybug is said to be especially good luck. I think I would like something related to that.

I think I would like to go with "Shichi"bug even though the Shi is considered bad luck by some. I would like to reclaim it to remind my enemies to be fearful.

As for outfit. Purrhapds a little asymmetry for fun? Pure red tube top. And arm warmers- the left should be red with black sports and should go down to my wrist. The right arm warmer can be pure black, and stretch into a fingerless glove. Then I'd take a red skirt with ladybug spots on it.

Wow, that was crazy! Maris, Tenechat, how do you feel, having learned about all the different worlds out there? Is there one you'd really like to visit if you had the chance?

Maris: Well, we've known for some time that the other worlds are real

Tenechat: Actually learning how they're made was kind of wild

Maris: As for where I'd like to visit, well, technically it's not a single world but I would like to visit- wait if I tell you too much about the worlds I like, Tenechat might figure out who I am.

Tenechat: Pretty sure I'll forget anyway, thanks to my Miraculous Tenechat. Besides I think you just gave away that there's something mutiversal at play here. And knowing you I can lean towards JRPGs.

Maris: Well, okay, fine you got me. I was going to say Kingdom Hearts. Also maybe a few Final Fantasy worlds. The Boiling Isles. Stars Hollow. Star VS. Remnant. Maybe a few anime worlds like Naruto or Bleach.

Tenechat: Wait, Naota? Is that

Maris: Yes, Fletcher, it's me. Now please hurry with the Miraculous Tenechat before I die of regrets.
