The whole plot of Echoes of Wisdom is so funny from King Hyrule's perspective because imagine you get spirited away to some alternate dimension and when you come back you learn that your doppelganger almost executed your daughter but it's okay actually because she had this whole whimsical adventure where she defeated both Ganon and an interdimensional eldritch god of nothingness. She's like 15. Oh and you also have a newfound alliance with the Gerudo because she started dating the Gerudo heir. Then she makes you a smoothie because of the headache this whole situation has given you.

gonna start posting my tloz i and ii (re)designs... classic zelda is like a barbie to me
all my classic tloz thoughts are melded with the tv show so i wanted to give her an adventuring outfit too based off of that zelda
the magic pouch is a pouch to keep items in that can fit pretty much anything, bigger on the inside like a tardis (idea from the tv show as well); link has one too
i have an idea for how heart containers work where they're like a life charm that gives the wearer more health/vitality and makes it easier to heal/restore the wearer's energy thru magic (potions or spells); link also has one
as for zelda i/the cursed zelda from tloz ii, i have diagnosed her with an anxiety disorder! good luck girl!
the prince! he was a good guy until an evil wizard corrupted him or something. for some reason the magic the wizard used to put zelda i to sleep also killed the wizard? and the prince realizes his wrongdoing and does his best to honor his sister for the years to come (second pic is a redraw of some official art)

Ganon creating Moblins seems to be very popular Zelda misinformation, even though it doesn’t even appear to be in the obscure material like spinoff manga and novels. Angry Video Game Nerd seems to have popularized it. The funny thing is Moblins were bulldogs prior to Wind Waker making the pig design the standard one, even then dog Moblins continued to make appearances in handhelds with their last appearance being the Moblin chiefs in Hyrule Warriors DE.
If you ever wonder why boarblins existed, it’s because regular Moblins were dogs but the switch remake made them both pigs, making the pig variant redundant
Actually now I’m worried the OOT remake will remove the classic Moblin design did! Personally bulldog goblins/orcs are more unique to Zelda and I dislike Nintendo trying to standardize old Zelda designs.
Fair enough. I have never watched a single AVN video so I don't know what you're talking about there. I do think the assumption is reasonable in TOTK's case (bc there's a whole cutscene showing Ganondorf creating monsters) but I didn't know the idea was around before that.
I personally don't have any particular attachment to specific monster designs. In general, monster designs and names tend to be pretty loose, especially in the earlier games before translations and designs were standardized. So I don't particularly care whether moblins look like bulldogs or pigs, but I can imagine it being frustrating to see your fave designs be replaced.
