“ pleaseeee” the boy practically begged, oh how he enjoyed Marrins kisses. “ i´m greedy but its okay, kisses are free” he told him and giggled “ yeah an hour unless your slow and it will take you like two” he teased “ how will you cope? well you can walk behind me and watch my butt” Isak 100% joked. Isak put his backpack on his back and took marins hand starting to walk. “ come on slow poke” he said giggling and left the building.

Isak lead marin to a forest on the side of a mountain and up they went, half way there isak stopped by some big rocks. “ i think we need a water break, dont ya think?” he asked and sat down on a rock reaching in his backpack, he pulled out a bottle of water and a ‘Kvikk lunsj’ “ so my idea with this whole hike, is that i want to show you something i love, something other than handball, i want to  introduce you to what i do a lot of back home, and the traditions around it. So, whenever you go hiking in norway, you have to have this with you, this peace of chocolate is like THE chocolate when out in nature. Of cause we eat it all the time elsewhere too, but its a must when hiking” Isak informed him and opened it to share with Marin “ Its kinda like a kit kat, just a lot better, but same idea, just the norwegian version with Norwegian chocolate” he told Marin “ this is also my favorite candy in norway. It has been my favorite candy sins i was 2 years old to be honest” Isak told Marin the random fact. He wanted to let marin in in more random ways, he wanted Marin to get to know the real isak, and all of him, also the small random not important facts

“You don’t know that. Maybe I’ll give you a bill for all the kisses one day,” Marin mumbled, although he smiled at Isak to let him know he was just playing around. Rolling his eyes as Isak lorded it over him, Marin remained by his side rather than falling back, taking the chocolate bar from him. “So a hiking bar,” he mused, raising an eyebrow. “You’ve really not changed your favourite candy in that long? Damn.” It was good though, he appreciated the sentiment if nothing else, and learning about Isak’s life and preferences. 

Christopher laughed at Marin’s words, nodding his head in agreement. “Honestly? Good. Because if I didn’t know that, that would make me a complete fraud and you really shouldn’t be friends with me in that case.” He jokingly retorted. Christopher was deeply appreciative for his friendship with Marin in reality. Despite the fact that they hadn’t really been friends for that long in the grand scheme of things, they were bonded by the fact that they were both outsiders in the things that they enjoyed doing in their spare time, but could do their respective hobbies in the company of each other with zero judgement; just as they were doing presently. “Yeah yeah, he’s a stunning intellectual alright.” Christopher replied with a hint of playful sarcasm in his tone before he rolled his eyes and laughed. He exhaled a small sigh at Marin’s reminder that they had to get back to doing French at some point, although his head perked up once the other boy mentioned his prom outfit. “Thank God you said something, because I have zero clue how to make this interesting.” He said, setting the miniature down and going to his closet to pull out the black suit he’d settled on wearing from prom. “I like the suit itself right? It’s one of the ones that you altered for me awhile back, so it fits really well. But its all black and I just…I feel like it needs something more, you know? Something that will make it more…Yule Ball esque?” Looking at his friend, Christopher’s expression was filled with desperation for the other’s input on what he could do to spiff up his prom outfit. 

“I could never associate myself with a fraud,” Marin agreed, playing along. “If you’re lying about your Napoleon knowledge then who’s to say you’re not lying about the whole friendship? I could never trust you again.” Laughing, he nodded in agreement at his next words: “a stunning intellectual is the perfect description of him, I absolutely agree.” He went quiet, however, as Christopher showed him the suit, squinting at it and holding up one of the sleeves. “I mean like, it’s cute and all, but you’re right. We could do better.” He paused, thinking. “What about some embroidery? I could do some Yule Ball esque silver stars on the sleeves and stuff. Not too much, just a couple to ..... accent the black. I have some silver thread....?” 

Dom shook his head, “But I like it” He said stepping back, prepared to run. “Stay away from me with that thing Marin or I will end you.” He said eyeing the razor. “I think she likes it, so you can stay away.”

“You and absolutely nobody else. Dominic Jordan Kyle or whatever the fuck your full name is, this needs to change,” Marin said flatly. “End me all you want, I’m just out here doing God’s work. The beard needs to go.” 

Isak chuckled as Marin joked, the boy was just too beautiful and funny. “ okay awesome. Lets go” he said and bit his lip as Marin called him babe, it was new to him but it filled him with joy and warmth “ i think i need one more kiss before we head off” Isak said, it was a fair try. Isak had already gone on that hike, that was his morning work out, he had gone up there with everything he needed for the date. “ its about an hour walk, you think you can handle it?” he asked looking him up and down, isak himself dressed in shorts and a tee, with a snap back and running shoes ready to hike. Thats one place Isak was in his element, out in nature and he wanted to introduce Marin a little to isak and what he loved other than handball 

“One more? Damn, you greedy,” he joked, although he leaned in and pecked Isak’s lips all the same. It wasn’t like Marin had a problem with kissing him all the time, hell, he’d be quite content with that situation. “A whole hour? However will I cope?” He asked sarcastically, before rolling his eyes. “Boo. Babe. I can hike for an hour, alright? We good.” Perhaps the sarcasm was a little harsh, but Marin really did not enjoy being underestimated. “Come on then. Let’s go.”

“The only point of going to prom is that it is Harry Potter themed. Do you know how many years I have been suggesting this to the events committee and they finally listened to me? I mean, a Yule Ball makes more sense around Christmas, but still! It’s going to be amazing,” she declared, talking excitedly about the upcoming event. Being a part of the events committee and a Harry Potter fan meant she could really make it an amazing prom. “I have no clue about my dress still, but I am obviously bringing my wand. My one regret is that I was shut down when I suggested getting effects to make a few real spell work. Something about it being out of budget.”

“I thought the point of prom was the clothes,” Marin responded with a shrug. “I only read Harry Potter in French, I still get confused when people talk about it. We call Hogwarts Poudlard,” he informed her, squinting at his sketchbook and starting to erase a section of his drawing. “You don’t have any clue about your dress?” Marin gave her a horrified look, before getting up. “Kenzie. This needs to be corrected. Come with me.” 

“You have been talking for a while and I am having a hard time to listen.” Madeleine took a sip from her coffee, suffering from a hangover from hell. “Just cut the crap and tell me what you want.” @luxoracademy​

“Parce que tu es impatient,” Marin cooed, taking a sip from his own coffee and shaking his head. “Quelqu'un se sent-il un peu fragile? You look awful,” he said in English this time, raising an eyebrow at her. “Exactement combien avez-vous bu la nuit dernière?” 

“I don’t really want to. I just want to not fail.” Caleb sighed, rubbing his hands across his face. “I’ve been taking the class for three years. I know nothing.” Hearing how pact the others schedule was, Caleb groaned, dropping his head on the table. He needed more help than Marin had to offer. Goodbye summer in Korea. “I’m screwed.”

“Alright, alright,” Marin rolled his eyes at Caleb’s theatrics. “I’ll shift a couple people round, okay? And you’re not screwed, shut up.” He gently stroked the other boy’s shoulder, sighing. “I can totally get you up to like, a B minimum. It’s easier than you think,” he promised, leaning back and tying his hair up. This called for concentration. “You can start by pronouncing Marin the French way. Ma-ran, roll the r,” Marin advised, playing with the rings on his fingers as he talked. 

“ isak was deep in thought trying to think back and see if he had forgotten anything but when the door opened and he heard Marins voice, he snapped out of it and smiled wide seeing the shorter boy “ hi” he said and stepped inside, he was a bit taken back by the greeting kiss but his smile just widened up on it, it was something the boy for sure could get used to “ I missed you too” isak confirmed “ Well, i was wondering if you wanted to go on a short hike with me? the weather is amazing, like… way to good to be inside “ Isak said biting his lip really hoping marin would bite on to his hook right now. 

“Good,” Marin joked, laughing. It was half a laugh at himself, referring to his blatant acceptance of people missing him, and half due to Isak’s expression - he was so obviously unused to kisses still, it was cute. Made Marin want to kiss him that much more, to be honest. “I could go for a hike,” he agreed, following Isak out and closing the door behind them. “Come on then, babe.” 

dom smiled as he thought he won that battle. The sat there as he happily felt is scruff on his face. He looked up at Marin with wide yes as he jumped out of the seat. “Oh my god, get the fuck away from me with that shit.” He said as he moved to be away from Marin. “You are not shaving my beard off!!”

“Um, yes, yes I am?” Marin raised an eyebrow, taking another step closer to Dom. “Baby. Sweetie. You cannot keep that thing. When I tell you it looks bad, I’m being as nice as I possibly can.” He took another step towards Dom, still holding up the razor. “It’s patchy and I bet it feels disgusting to kiss, so really this is for Lennon’s good as well as anyone who has to look at your face....” 

Christopher laughed at Marin’s words, nodding his head. “I hadn’t ever really thought about that part before, but yeah now I definitely can’t bring any girls to my dorm. The pressure of the two eyes of the person I’m sleeping with is usually more than enough without throwing any more eyes into the mix.” He replied, chuckling. As Marin explained how Napoleon had been more Italian than French, Christopher shot him a bit of a look. “Yeah, I know, Marin. History buff, remember?” He said pointing to himself for good measure before he chuckled again, shaking his head. “That’s why I made the distinction of saying his troops. Plus, this little guy-” He grabbed a hold of the miniature and lifted him up so that he and Marin could both get a closer look. “- actually is one of Napoleon’s troops rather than Napoleon himself, who I haven’t actually painted yet. I’ll probably end up painting him last.” He shrugged, before setting the French troop down and resuming the painting of the Russian soldier that he’d been painting a moment ago. Christopher couldn’t help but laugh at Marin’s adoption of a French accent whilst he teasingly praised his, rolling his eyes a bit when he praised his teacher, but still shrugging and nodding his head in agreement. “Yeah actually I do. As a teacher. As a person he’s a bit of an idiot though.” He teased with a cheeky grin, before laughing again and shaking his head. “I’m kidding, I’m kidding. You know you don’t have to sit here and watch me. If you have anything you personally wanna work on you can do that.” Often times while Christopher would read, or write, or paint miniatures like he was now, Marin would pull out some clothes and do work on them, so he was a bit surprised that he wasn’t doing that, though he wondered if maybe he just wasn’t sure how long this break they were taking would last, and didn’t wanna bother getting everything out if he would just have to put it away again. “We can probably finish the last bits of the chapter we were going through in less than an hour right? So we can afford to take a bit longer of a break.” He added with a shrug.

“I was making sure you knew. If you didn’t know Napoleon was from Corsica, we couldn’t be friends,” Marin said solemnly, shaking his head as if to emphasise the point. Which was complete bullshit, of course, he had plenty of friends who knew nothing about his French heritage and had never even heard him speak the language - but it was more fun to joke around with Christopher. “An idiot? I heard he’s incredibly intelligent, actually,” he mused with a slight smile. “Quite attractive too. Especially when he speaks French,” he added, laughing. “You know you have to get back to doing French eventually?” Despite the words, Marin picked up his sketchbook, content to be back to designing. “Anyway, we have more important things to discuss. Like what you’re wearing to prom.” 

“I mean, I could talk about myself, but I’m just too humble...”

Dom shrugged. “I mean, It’s my body and my face.” He said. “Contrary to popular belief, you don’t actually have control over my life, I like my beard and I intend to keep it.”

“Oh, yeah,” Marin agreed innocently. “You’re so right, baby. You do what you like. Just give me two seconds.” He got up, wandering over to the bathroom before returning with a razor, giving Dom a slightly threatening smile. “Or, I do it for you. Come here.”

“If that’s what you like then who am I to stand in your way?” She asked rhetorically, a slight teasing tone in her voice. Hearing him talk her up, she let out a breathy laugh as she shook her head. “Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t try to beat you in that. But, I can beat you in Spanish. So, there’s that.” She said with a proud shrug. “A card? That’s nice, involves you putting in thought.” She commented. “Anyways, tell your mom I said hi and that I miss her. I should make her a gift.” Maia spoke aloud. “Does your mom prefer mugs, jewelry boxes or necklaces?” She asked, hoping he would know the answer.

“Exactly. I’ll just go on looking good without caring about anyone’s opinion on it,” Marin agreed, although his slight smile showed he meant the words less harshly than might otherwise be thought. “Yeah, yeah, it’ll probably end up in the trash,” he admitted. “As if my dad would keep that shit in the house when he could have another Damien Hirst.” He supposed it was the problem with having an art dealer father. All of his paintings or drawings tended to be judged as harshly as the art pieces his father appraised, even if they were just intended to be a card for mothers day. “She’d love anything you sent her. You could send my mom sewage and she’d be like,” Marin assumed a French accent to better imitate his mother, “That Maia is so sweet! The perfect child! Why can’t you take notes from her?” 

“Considering I didn’t have money when it was a lower prize, I definitely don’t have that much,” he joked, there were people with a lot less than he did, but his dad was definitely not rich, “Following trends is overrated,” despite his light tone, he did think that, people thought it was more important than it really was, he wouldn’t ever get it.

“It was worth a shot,” Marin reasoned, shrugging. Not that he would have slept with Richard for money. Well, actually, there was a possibility, if Marin hadn’t been tied down to a boyfriend already. But still. “Did I say to follow trends?” He raised an eyebrow. “Having a good sense of style doesn’t mean having the same taste as everyone else. That’d be boring. Case in point: me.” 

Dom was Confused by Marin’s initial reaction. He listened to him go on. “What? No! I like my beard. I’m growing it out, don’t I look sexy?” Dom smiled as he scratched his beard. “So much easier than shaving every other day.” He added on. 

“You look like the unwanted lovechild of Tarzan and a brillo pad,” Marin informed him, with a somewhat disgusted expression. “Seriously. The last word that came to mind when I saw that...thing...was sexy.” Perhaps he was being a bit dramatic, but surely Dom deserved to know the honest truth? “Shave it or I’ll do it for you.”
