“Fck anyone who can’t see how great you are, it just shows they weren’t meant to be in your life.” She said. Even though for years she told him countless times how great he was, he didn’t believe it himself.

Her words engulfed his heart,

And though he felt he had nothing left to give,

She believed in him.

She never stopped.

And he believed in her,

The way a child believes in their father when taking their first swim,

The way a child believes when taking their first ride on a bike.

The way you once let who meant the world go because you wanted them to be happy,

And even though your heart was being anguished by a glowing blade,

The Blade of Life and Love,

It left a heart full of love.

“Just know you always have a friend here.” She said. “Can’t wait to see the amazing things you do in life. “

And at that moment I cried.

I cried because despite having left her multiple times

And despite hell tearing it all apart

she sees good in me.

Her kindness is impenetrable,

It penetrates your soul,

Like a double edged sword.

Those who talk to her are forever enlightened.
